mother and son owners of “The Stork Childcare” a new concept in modern childcare.
You see, we believe that “care” has slowly vanished from childcare. With a combined 20 years of experience in the childcare field, we’d like to restore genuine and quality childcare to your family and little ones all while ensuring the highest level of safety, learning and much to their delight, PLAY!
Our plan is simple: You have a child or children that need care, we come to your location, set up our mobile childcare tools & your child has a blast, all while being in earshot of you giving you peace of mind.
We offer daily, weekly, parent's night out as well as special occasion and corporate childcare and rates. We also offer overnight and weekly childcare (advanced appointment required).

Hi! My name is Derek Griffey, I am one of the owners and the chaos coordinator for the Stork Childcare. I left childcare in 2024 to focus on developing a childcare structure that focuses on family and children instead of enrollments and profit. My goal is to provide excellent, child focused childcare at your choice of location ensuring safety, positivity and fun while in my care. My experience in childcare is vast; from an after schoolteacher to a director, I have learned many lessons on how to provide safe, quality & fun education to my students.

Hi! My name is Lynn Griffey. I enjoy every aspect of babies.... from the cuddles and giggles to watching their eyes light up when they experience something new. I understand the challenge that comes with parents having to leave their babies in the arms of someone unfamiliar. I can assure you that I dedicate my time, energy, and love to building positive relationships, adhering to your schedule as much as possible, and embracing teachable moments for our little ones. It is my passion to spend my days with babies!
